At Paul Morrissey Ltd (PML), we produce and general manage theatre that excites, inspires, and pushes boundaries. Based in London, we work across the UK and internationally, from major West End productions and UK tours to new musicals, plays, and special live events.

We’re also proud co-owners and general managers of the digital platform The Theatre Channel, where we bring the magic of theatre to global audiences online.

Our current & recent projects reflect the diversity of our work: the brand-new thriller Alcatraz (touring the UK in 2027), Rosie the Musical at the Adelphi Theatre, Nadia Manzoor: Disobedient at Park Theatre, and Burlesque the Musical at the Savoy Theatre in the West End, executive produced by Christina Aguilera, where we served as General Managers. Most recently we opened a brand new version of the musical, La Bamba: The Song of Veracruz, at the City of Dreams in Sri Lanka.

Other standout productions include the high-energy La Bamba!, starring Siva Kaneswaran (The Wanted) and Pasha Kovalev (Strictly Come Dancing), which premiered at Leicester Curve before a West End run, UK tour and a Mexican non-replica production, and Graziano Di Prima’s Believe, a stunning celebration of Latin dance that toured to packed houses nationwide.

Our previous work includes acclaimed productions such as When Darkness Falls and Wickies: The Vanishing Men of Eilean Mor (both at Park Theatre), the New York premiere of Islander, and classics like Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats, Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story, Chess, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

We’ve also created and managed more intimate and original projects including Howard Goodall’s Days of Hope, Payback the Musical, Toys the Musical, Caroline O’Connor: The Showgirl Within, and Brooklyn (European premiere).

In concert, our productions have brought together some of theatre’s finest voices in shows like Les Misérables in Concert, South Pacific in Concert, and Tonight at the London Coliseum, featuring Ramin Karimloo, Sharon D. Clarke, and Carrie Hope Fletcher.

We also created The West End Men, one of the world’s first musical theatre supergroups, performing everywhere from London’s West End to concert halls across Asia and Europe, most recently with the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra.

Founded by Paul Morrissey, recipient of the Stage One Bursary for New Producers, we’re passionate about creating exceptional theatre — on stage, on tour, and online — that connects audiences and artists around the world.

At Paul Morrissey Ltd (PML), we work differently.

We are not a producing office built around layers of administration or inherited infrastructure. We are hands-on producers and general managers with real experience of getting shows made in the real world. Commercially, creatively and operationally.

For over 25 years, we have developed, produced and managed theatre and live entertainment across the UK and internationally, from West End productions and national tours to new musicals, international collaborations and large-scale live events.

We understand what it means to carry responsibility for a production because we’ve done it ourselves.

What we offer is not simply management. We offer clarity, strategy and experienced oversight in environments where pressure is high, timelines are tight and every decision matters.

We specialise in helping productions move from idea to reality. That may mean stepping in as General Manager on a commercial production, supporting a producer through development, stabilising a complex project, building a tour, shaping budgets and financial models, or helping position new work for investors and the wider industry.

We are particularly passionate about original work, ambitious projects and productions looking to build long-term value through strong intellectual property and smart producing structures.

Unlike many traditional producing offices, we understand both the creative process and the commercial reality behind it. We know how to navigate risk, work internationally, operate lean when needed, and keep productions moving forward without losing sight of the artistic vision.

Most importantly, we believe producing is not about gatekeeping. It is about problem solving, leadership, relationships and delivering work that connects with audiences.
